BIO
Oliver Klemet is one of Germany’s most successful open water swimmers. The athlete, born in 2002, crowned his career so far with a silver medal in the 10 km open water race at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris – a historic achievement for German swimming. Prior to this, Klemet had already made a name for himself by winning bronze at the 2023 World Championships in Fukuoka and demonstrated consistent top performances at numerous international World Cups. Hailing from Frankfurt, the swimmer trains under professional conditions in Magdeburg and impresses with his endurance, mental strength, and tactical awareness during races.
