Head of the Education Department at the Cyprus National Olympic Committee, Project Manager and Executive Coach
Georgios C. Korellis has been working for the Cyprus National Olympic Committee since 2007, where he serves as Head of the Education Department and as Delegation Leader at Olympic Games and other major international events.
Additionally, he is a Project Manager for international sports events and conferences, including the Games of the Small States of Europe and the IOC Executive Masters Program.
Korellis is a member of several international bodies, currently serving as Deputy Chair of the Development & Cooperation Committees of the European Olympic Academies and as a former member of the Culture and Education Commission of the European Olympic Committees.
Beyond his work with the Olympic Committee, Korellis is also active as an Executive Coach and Consultant. In this role, he has been supporting companies, sports centres, and organisations for years in strategy, structure, and personnel development processes.
As a keynote speaker, he has been invited to numerous international conferences to speak on topics such as leadership responsibility, team building, time management, and safeguarding in sport – including at the International Olympic Academy (Greece), the Olympic Museum (Lausanne), and universities in Brazil and Cyprus.
He is also the author of the book Dominate: 90 Days Plan for Businesses That Want to Lead the Market During Crisis (2020), as well as academic contributions in biomechanics and sports psychology.
As a former elite athlete in Taekwondo and windsurfing, Korellis has won medals including bronze at the European Taekwondo Championships and has been multiple national champion of Cyprus.
